Tarik Haddi began his career at Groupe Crédit Agricole du Maroc after completing a distinguished academic journey in France, where he pursued business studies, obtained a diploma from the Institut des Techniques de Banque, and earned both a DESS in Finance and Taxation and a Master’s degree in Private Law. Throughout his banking career, he steadily climbed the ranks, holding key positions such as Head of Treasury, Director of Financial Affairs, and Director of Studies & Strategy. He later served as Administrator of BMAO Bank (a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole), Secretary of the Supervisory Board, and ultimately Managing Director in charge of Investment Banking for the group.
In 2009, Tarik transitioned to entrepreneurship, co-founding Afoulki Invest, an incubator for innovative startups focused on local product valorization, which he continues to lead as Chairman. The following year, he established Azur Partners, a fund management and investment advisory firm, where he currently serves as CEO. In 2016, he played a key role in designing the INNOV INVEST initiative alongside the World Bank, the Ministry of Finance, and the Caisse Centrale de Garantie, leading to Azur Partners managing the Azur Innovation Seed Fund, a public-private investment vehicle launched in December 2019, with Tarik as Chairman of the Executive Board. Since 2020, he has also been actively engaged in industry advocacy, serving as President of the Moroccan Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (AMIC), working to strengthen the country’s investment ecosystem.
